Vice President Sales & Marketing

Joe joined Seaway in 2016 and is responsible for leading the Sales, Marketing and Administrative teams. The company has seen in increase in profit margin throughout its customer base under Joe’s leadership. He helped to develop and launch Seaway’s Advanced Cold Forming business unit. 

In addition to leading the Advanced Cold Forming unit, Joe has put in place a Marketing Strategy that included the launch of Social Media. He has worked diligently to improve the culture and business acumen of the entire company. Joe also has responsibility for the support processes of Human Resources, Purchasing and Information Technology.

Prior to joining Seaway, Joe spent 11 years working in various roles with the Continental Midland group of companies. As Materials Manager at Minuteman Distribution, he introduced a growth culture to the organization, which helped to increase revenue from $3M to $18M over a 9-year period. Joe was responsible for the division sales operations, which included 50 suppliers (4 countries), 80 customers and over 250 new part launches. 

Joe also spent time at the Jacobson Tiffin division as a Sales Engineer, where he was responsible for generating new non-automotive opportunities, while helping to maintain core business. 

Joe graduated from Miami University in Oxford, OH with a BA in Journalism with Business Emphasis in 2004. Joe graduated from SPC 3.0 (Akron, OH) – Strategic Planning in February ’19. He has since completed Finance/Accounting for non-financial manager at Cleveland State University and as part of the Seaway executive team, Scalerator NEO entrepreneurial curriculum.
