Myron Tama

New Business Development Manager

Myron is responsible for helping to implement and execute Seaway’s business plan for sales growth. In 2019, Myron successfully brought on Seaway’s largest customer in 2021 ($3.5M).  In addition, Myron has brought two additional customers that will both exceed $1M in revenue. Not only does Myron work with the tubular products, but he is heavily involved in the male threaded plug side of the business as well.    

Myron joined Seaway in March of 2018.  Prior to working at Seaway, Myron worked as an Industrial Sales Representative at Agrati (formerly Jacobson/CMG) in Medina, Ohio.  He was responsible for securing new business and building customer relationships in the industrial market.  His customer base had revenue of over $35M in 2017.    

Myron started his career in Customer Service and Inside Sales at LTV Steel in 1997.  At that time, LTV was the 2nd largest steel producer in the world.  He oversaw multimillion-dollar customers in the industrial market including Carrier (heating and cooling systems, 4 U.S. locations) and Rheem Manufacturing Company (water heaters, U.S. and Mexico locations).  His customer base at that time had revenues in excess of $75M.  Customer satisfaction results always exceeded 98% when he oversaw these accounts.  Myron always believed in the adage of treating customers the way you want to be treated.  And his values are still the same today.
